Rental Information at the Sumter County Museum The Heritage Education Center Rental information There are several rental options at the Sumter County Museum: the Heritage Education Center which has classrooms and a reception hall and the Cubbage House which is available for overnight guests. McKenzie Hall in the Heritage Education Center seats 100 people and rents for $100.00 an hour. The cost includes use of the Hall, kitchen facilities, the multimedia center, and the gardens. The classrooms of the Heritage Education Center are available for community organizations for $15.00 an hour during business hours.

The Cubbage House is a charming 1912 home furnished with period pieces. It has a parlor, dining room, and kitchen facilities. The home is available for overnight guests at reasonable rates.

In the Heritage Education Center, chairs and tables are available at no additional charge. To reserve a space, a nonrefundable deposit is required with the rental fee being paid in full at least two weeks prior to the event.
